Job summary
The Certification Development Administrator is responsible for completing all aspects of certification program revisions and creation including author communication and selection, coherence of information, respect of timelines, preparation of materials, etc.  This role collaborates with the Certification Director to develop scope of practice and standards for all certification programs and creation of new CEC opportunities and offerings in order to increase certified member retention.

 Summary of Duties and Responsibilities  
§         Complete all aspects of certification program revisions and creation including author communication and selection, coherence of information, respect of timelines, preparation of materials etc.
§         Develop implementation plan for each program including processes, policies, web and print schedules, as well as communication pieces to our partners (i.e. colleges and universities).
§         Develop product knowledge training sessions for staff on new programs and their implementation
§         Complete all aspects of certification program revisions and creation including author communication and selection, coherence of information, respect of timelines, preparation of materials etc.
§         Develop product knowledge training sessions for staff on new programs and their implementation
§         Creating new CEC opportunities and offerings in order to increase certified member retention
§         Assist the Membership and Certification Departments with special tasks and projects when needed
Qualifications

 Education

§         High School diploma
§         Degree or Diploma in related field an asset

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

§         Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
§         Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
§         Proven administration skills in a business environment
§         Ability to coach a team of staff and collaborators
§         Ability to prioritize
§         Ability to quickly and easily adapt to unexpected situations
§         Well developed attention to detail
§         Ability to work effectively in demanding and stressful situations
§         Sound computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
§         Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast pace environment
§         Professionalism, competence and dedication
§         Knowledge of the fitness industry an asset

 Proficiency in the use of computers for

§         Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access) and internet

 Experience

§         Minimum 1 year experience in the fitness industry
§         Valid certification as personal trainer or fitness instructor



Relationship Management 
Establish and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of the organization
