Salary: $13.45 to $16.55 Hourly for 35 hours per week, Other Benefits, Mileage Paid

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Some university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Recreational Concentration: Aquatics, Fitness and aerobics, Yoga, Aqua Fitness, Gymnastics, Dance or movement, Acting/Improvisation, Creative Play, Stories, Vocal music, Nature games and crafts, Games
Type of Clients: Adults, Persons with physical disabilities, Persons with mental health disabilities
Work Setting: Rehabilitation centre, Swimming pool/centre
Activity Focus: Leading/instructing individuals, Leading/instructing groups
Specific Skills: Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques, Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs, Plan and carry out fitness and sports activities, Plan and carry out recreational activities, Attend to clients with special needs, Enforce safety rules and regulations, Understand principles of group dynamics, Schedule activities, Provide lifestyle awareness information, Conduct therapeutic recreational or athletic activities
Additional Skills: Provide emergency or first aid assistance, Prepare reports, Keep logs and maintain records
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle, Vehicle supplied by employer, Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is available
Work Location Information: Various locations
Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, In/on water
