Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, Fitness Instructor Certificate, Aqua Fitness Instructor Certificate, Lifesaving Bronze Medallion, Lifesaving Bronze Cross, National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Recreational Concentration: Aquatics, Fitness and aerobics, Aqua Fitness
Type of Clients: Families, Adolescents, Adults, Seniors, Persons with physical disabilities, Persons with mental health disabilities
Work Setting: YMCA,YWCA, YMHA and YWHA
Activity Focus: Leading/instructing individuals, Leading/instructing groups
Specific Skills: Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques, Enforce safety rules and regulations
Additional Skills: Provide emergency or first aid assistance
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people
Work Site Environment: Wet/damp, In/on water
